Hardings Hotmix is a locally owned and operated Tasmanian specialist civil contracting and asphalt business.
Starting out in 1986, as a two-man operation working on private driveways, Hardings Hotmix spent the following years growing and branching out into new areas, as new opportunities in the industry were identified. In 2011 with the addition of the Asphalt Batch Plant, Hardings Hotmix became a key Asphalt supplier on the North West Coast of Tasmania.
In early 2021 Hardings Hotmix was merged with CBB Contracting, then acquired by Sonic Civil Investments. Hardings Hotmix remains committed to its tradition of growing to meet industry needs, and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
Today Hardings Hotmix employs a workforce of over 100 and service Tasmanian water, sewerage, roads, urban, rural, industrial construction and infrastructure sectors.
